On October 16, 2008 we welcomed Hazel Rose Thrash into the world... Holla! 8 lbs, 2 oz, 19.5 inches long and sharing a birthday with the infamous vegetable.

Dad was all about the "skin-to-skin" but Hazel
found out quickly where the milk was (& wasn't).

After two crazy days of most our favorite people coming to meet the little one, one completely sleepless night, and a lame hematoma (don't ask), we got to head home to figure it out on our own. Hazey was not a big fan of the carseat that first time... my, my how things change! Now she hardly goes a night without a car-ride to put her to sleep. We've got no shame... car-rides, hairdryers and the vacuum are some of the favored Thrash tools and calming this child of ours.
I just love being a Grandma. These pics are great. Love you 3.
